The yarn service team of RVUUF has been able to continue our service to the community in 2020 without any funding due to a very generous donation of yarn odds-n-ends from wonderful owners of Web-sters of Ashland. And some generous contributions of yarn stashes from our members. Lovely soft yarn but in small quantities that don’t work for sweaters but are just great for our projects. We have turned those unloved bits and bobs into hats, scarves, blankets and neck, ear and wrist-warmers, for the winter unhoused shelterees, Meals on Wheels, CASA and other local organizations. But we are running low on yarn and winter needs are greater than ever, with unemployment, evictions and other troubles at an all-time high. If you have any leftover yarn or cloth, we want it! After a suitable time in quarantine for our safety, they will be magically transformed into warmth for our community in need. Thank YOU! – Victoria Leo 541 708 1229
