Beyond Boom & Bust presents “The (w)HOLE,” an original social justice dance-theatre project inspired by interviews with Southern Oregon residents about the the economy, wealth and poverty, and envisioning an economy that cares for our shared home and descendants.
The performances take place in Ashland High School’s Mountain Avenue Theatre (201 S. Mountain Ave) at 8pm Friday, October 4th, and Saturday, October 5th. Tickets are pay what you can, suggested donation $25; all proceeds benefit RiverStars Performing Arts, which is cultivating youth voice and power by offering free dance and theatre education to over 80 youth in the Illinois Valley.
Performer Eliot Feenstra is a Unitarian Universalist who recently returned to Southern Oregon from Toronto, where he was active in the First Unitarian Congregation.
