On several occasions, particularly after large events, RVUUF’s custodian has found the recycle bins filled with trash. This is disheartening, and not in keeping with our RVUUF values.

Please note that BLUE bins are for recyclable materials ONLY – bottles, cans, and CLEAN PAPER without any food residue.

When trash is placed in those bins, it makes additional work for our staff, and may contaminate the entire bin, thus contaminating an entire load of recycling. Contaminated recycling loads end up in landfills.

Please respect our staff and our environment by being careful where and how you dispose of trash and recycling at RVUUF and at home. Thank you.
