RVUUF would like to invite all members and nonmembers to start their Spring cleaning a bit late and donate whatever they can, for a Jumble/Rummage sale to be held Saturday, Aug. 25.

“Remember one person’s junk is another person’s treasure!”

Please drop off your donations on Friday, Aug. 24, from noon to 6 p.m., at RVUUF. The actual event, on Aug. 25, will take place out-of-doors in the playground area.

Anyone who would like to help on either or both days, please use RVUUF’s contact form to connect with Anne Cowden or Tangerine Bruton as soon as possible. If you are unable to bring things to RVUUF on Aug. 24, please let the organizers know and they will try to make arrangements to collect them.

One half of money raised will go to RVUUF and the other half to a worthy organization yet to be designated. Please share ideas with Anne, Tangerine, or the Social Justice and Action Committee.

All leftover items will be free to anyone who can use them.

Organizers are also in need of a table or tables they can borrow, as well as a volunteer truck to haul away items that don’t sell. Please contact Anne or Tangerine if you are able to help.
