Here’s a look at services taking place in March 2018. The Soul Matters theme for the month is “Balance.” Services take place at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday in RVUUF’s Great Hall. Gathering music begins at 10:25 a.m.
March 4: International Women’s Day
“The Rising of the Women Means the Rising of the [Human] Race.” Recognizing where we have been, where we are and where we are headed, we examine the waves of feminism and its impact in North America and the world.
March 11: Torn Between Saving and Savoring the World
How do we balance the needs of the world with the needs of our own hearts and spirits? Is self-care always self-indulgent? How do we know when we are out of balance? What can we do to ensure that we find a way to sustain our spirits while we fight for justice and fairness in our world?
March 18: Art and Soul
Does art matter? Is it just a hobby? Can it change the world? Rev. Sean shares his passion about the vital connection between art and spirituality.
March 25: Keep On Moving Forward
It is easier to stay balanced when you’re moving forward. Like riding a bike, having direction and momentum helps keep us going. Rev. Sean welcomes Pat Humphries and Sandy O of Emma’s Revolution to inspire RVUUF’s last service exploring “Balance,” the March theme for Soul Matters.
