RVUUF will host a Holiday Craft Workshop from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Great Hall. Here is more information abou the event, in a “Question-and-Answer” format.
What crafts are for sale at the workshop?
None! It’s a workshop. We provide the materials that you use to make your own crafts.
How much does it cost to come to the workshop?
Admission is free, and you purchase tickets to cover the costs of craft materials you use. The cost for most crafts ranges from 25 cents to $2, with a few more elaborate ones priced at $6 to $8.
What if I’m not a crafter?
We have crafts for all skill levels, 0 and up. Instructions will be provided, and volunteers will be on hand to assist you.
Pompoms, beads, and glitter glue make my head hurt. Do I really have to use that stuff? Not unless that’s your thing. Instead, you can make food gifts like bourbon balls, create gift-worthy jewelry or a keepsake photo ornament, or arrange a beautiful holiday greenery centerpiece.
I don’t celebrate Christmas, so why should I come to the workshop?
Come for the fun and get into the winter holiday groove. Our UU community celebrates all holidays, so we’ll have some options for whatever you celebrate.
