Interfaith Social Justice Coalition meets on Monday

The Interfaith Social Justice Coalition will hold its next meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 N. Second St. in Ashland.

The Interfaith Social Justice Coalition is a collaboration of congregations, including RVUUF, most of them from Ashland thus far. The coalition seeks to enhance the effectiveness of its congregations’ work on justice, peace, and sustainability. It meets on the second Monday of every month, except August, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at various congregations.

To date, members of 15 congregations have attended coalition meetings. Anyone from a congregation is welcome to attend.

The coalition is currently organized into three working groups: Climate Change, Affordable Housing and Homelessness, and Immigration. It is open to supporting activities in other areas if participating congregations desire it.

To be added to the coalition’s mailing list, use RVUUF’s contact form to connect with John Limb.
