Here’s a look at services taking place in June 2017. Services take place at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday in RVUUF’s Great Hall. Gathering music begins at 10:25 a.m.
June 4: Thanks, Transitions and Trust
Thanks,Transitions, and Trust is the title of Rev. White’s message. She will lead a service of Installation for the new Board. Her message will include words of gratitude focusing on the principle and practice of trust building during times of transition.
June 11: Never Letting Go of the Thread
William Stafford’s poetry is the inspiration of Rev. White’s last sermon at RVUUF, titled “Never Letting Go of the Thread.” This service will include blessing the delegates as they go to General Assembly in New Orleans. Following the service, a potluck picnic will be held at Garden Way Park, located on the corner of Clark Street and Garden Way in Ashland.
June 18: Lifting Up the Sky
Guest speaker and storyteller Will Hornyak will present “Lifting Up the Sky: Stories of Collaboration, Vision and Empowerment for Difficult Times.”
June 25: Partners in a Divine Adventure
Rev. Margaret Keip, UU guest minister, presents a quick tour through process theology for people who have not yet encountered a belief system that satisfies their sense of what is possible and real. Rev. Keip is now fully retired from ministry, shared with husband Fred, and downsizing at home in Grants Pass.
