The Social Justice and Action Committee will be tabling outside the church after services this Sunday. The committee seeks signatures for its resolution asking the Ashland City Council to find ways to fund the Affordable Housing Trust. From this week’s “News to Note” email newsletter: “We will have written information about this vital issue and we ourselves can answer any questions you may have. Please stop and support the work of SJA and our Interfaith Social Justice coalition.” The committee hopes in future that many congregations will gather signatures as well, especially if SJA has a good showing this Sunday.
