The Southern Oregon Latino Scholarship Fund (SOLSF) will be the recipient of the third-Sunday offering, to be collected July 17.
Charlie Bauer, ELL / Migrant Education / Indian Education Coordinator with Southern Oregon Education Service District, will speak about the SOLSF, which provides opportunities for Latino/Hispanic students living in the Southern Oregon region to complete their post high school career/degree goals.
Each year, SOLSF, with the help of generous community sponsors, awards multiple college scholarships to students of Latino heritage.
RVUUF’s Social Justice and Action Committee selects a non-profit group to be the recipient of collection-plate offerings taken on the third Sunday of each month. Use RVUUF’s contact form to connect with the Social Justice and Action Committee.
