The Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (RVUUF) is one of more than 1,000 Unitarian Universalist congregations in the United States. We’re part of a religious movement committed to shared values of interdependence, transformation, generosity, pluralism, justice, and equity – all centered around love.
Let’s meet a few RVUUF people and learn why they’re here.
I’m Bill, and I am part of RVUUF because I love the Ashland community, and I consider RVUUF my extended family in which the vast majority of members hold values, beliefs, and interests which are very compatible with mine – consistent with the 7 basic principles of the UUA organization. I feel at home in RVUUF.
My name is Guy, and I’m a part of RVUUF because I find my spirit renewed here, and because I appreciate being part of an open compassionate community that’s committed to living justice and protecting the earth.
I’m Katy, and I’m part of RVUUF for so many reasons! We, as individuals in the congregation, work to live the seven principles with compassionate care, which helps us build fellowship and community. We bring our compassionate care to the larger community as we act on our belief in dignity and equity for all.
My name is Merak, and I’m a part of RVUUF because it’s my community. It’s where I’ve made connections and where I feel accepted and where I feel at home.
I’m Molly, and I’m a part of RVUUF because I want to encourage curiosity and critical thinking in my kids’ lives. The RE [Religious Explorations] program allows for personal exploration of spirituality with the support of a warm, open-minded community.I’m Teddie, and I’m a part of RVUUF because in this ocean of confusion and madness I find RVUUF to be a little island of clarity and sanity.
My name is Zoe, and I’m a part of RVUUF because I like being with people who are working to be their best and working to improve the world.
We are very glad you are here and we hope you’ll explore the website to discover more about RVUUF. Better yet – come and get to know us in person. Sunday services start at 10:30am, and coffee hour offers snacks and conversation immediately afterwards.
