Over the past several months, a number of people have asked about the absence of our Collaborative Pianist, Jen Marie Davidson. We appreciate your care and concern for her.

Jen Marie has been facing some significant health challenges. Out of respect for her privacy, we did not announce her departure from RVUUF’s music ministry while she focused on her health. Jen Marie has now officially resigned from her position after two and a half years of faithful service to our fellowship.

Jen Marie’s musical gifts have been an important part of our worship life, and we are deeply grateful for the creativity, dedication, and joy she brought to our congregation. She will be greatly missed.

Jen Marie has chosen to share more about her health journey through a GoFundMe campaign, which also provides an opportunity for those who wish to support her and her family during her treatment and recovery. We invite you to learn more there if you feel called to do so.
