This Sunday’s service explores the meaning of “good trouble” — the moral courage to challenge injustice when following the rules and doing what is right are no longer the same thing. Drawing on the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement and the words of John Lewis, we will reflect on what it means to live our values in a time of political anxiety, social division, and democratic uncertainty. Together, we will consider not only how to resist injustice, but how to turn concern into sustained, meaningful action rooted in conscience, community, and hope. We will collect food and financial gifts for the food bank.
The Chalice Choir will sing during this service. The Annual Congregational Meeting for members will be held after.
