For many years, Circle Dinners have been one of the quiet but meaningful traditions of RVUUF. Gathering in one another’s homes, sharing potluck meals, laughter, stories, and conversation, these evenings have helped transform acquaintances into friendships and newcomers into part of the fabric of our community. Many congregants first found their sense of connection and belonging around a Circle Dinner table.
Over the past year, these gatherings have been lovingly organized by Myrna Hall and Karin Webb, whose hospitality, coordination, and care have helped keep this tradition alive. Their efforts created opportunities for people to meet beyond Sunday mornings and to know one another more personally and deeply. We are profoundly grateful for the time, energy, and warmth they have shared with our congregation.
In recent months, participation has become smaller, and so Circle Dinners will be taking a pause for now. Even so, we want to honor the spirit behind them — the simple but powerful act of gathering together in community. Please join us in thanking Myrna and Karin for the many ways they have nurtured connection, fellowship, and belonging within RVUUF.
