The congregation was treated to a very informative presentation on Sunday September 21st by Operations Manager Foster Gough and Board Member Maren Fayé from the Jackson County Fuel Committee.
This organization helps over 260 households stay warm in the winter, advocates with the Oregon Public Utilities Commission and local utility agencies for those facing life-threatening power shut-offs, and helps to reduce the ever-increasing wildfire threat by utilizing that same fuel for heating homes.
It is an ALL VOLUNTEER organization – NO paid staff and NO government or other “strings-attached” funding. Your generous contributions to this much needed service are deeply appreciated.
