RVUUF Caring Team Update for 9/19/2025

The RVUUF Caring Team has tended to 9 members of our congregation in the past four weeks. We provided 3 rides, sent out 5 greeting cards, did 11 check-ins via phone, text, or email, and we had 8 in-person contacts/visits.

Our Caring Team consists of five people from our congregation who work with our minister to care for members of our congregation. We provide compassionate listening to those journeying through difficult times. Respect the privacy of congregants by keeping shared details of their lives in confidence. Set up Meal Trains. Send cards. Connect with, and visit, congregants in their homes or in healthcare settings. Provide rides, for example, to attend RVUUF services, for local medical appointments, etc. Provide referrals to local social services. For more information, check out our new brochure in the brochure rack in the front lobby.

If you have any of the needs noted above, please contact us on our Caring Team link and one of us will contact you.
