Caring Team

The RVUUF Caring Team has been providing ongoing care to 8 members of our congregation in the past four weeks. We provided 5 rides, sent out 6 greeting cards, did 15 check-ins via phone, text, or email, and we had 12 in-person contacts/visits.

Our Caring Team consists of five people from our congregation who care for congregants. We provide support by providing compassionate care to those who have experienced a significant life change, whether it be a health issue, a job loss, lack of transportation, divorce, loss of a loved one, be it human or a beloved pet, new baby, are homebound, or for those feeling lonely during these particularly challenging times. Upon request, we can organize Meal Trains, do home or healthcare facility visits, send greeting cards, give rides locally, do check in phone calls/texts/ emails, and recommend community resources, as needed. All requests are kept confidential, unless we have explicit permission to share a need.

If you have a need for compassionate care, or just need someone to talk to, please use our Caring Team form, and one of us will contact you.
