On the 3rd Sunday of the every month, we give our donation plate offerings to an organization that we feel embodies our mission and work in the world.

On Nov 19, this month’s recipient is the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC), who advance human rights through grassroots collaborations.

Even though the UUSC is a national committee with the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), it receives no funding from the organization. It is we, as individuals and individual fellowships, who entirely support their many works — and humanitarian crises is what it is all about.
