Shauneen Garner

Shaun Garner brings an eclectic and extensive range of musical experience to RVUUF as its Music Director. She is a graduate of the University of Redlands with degrees in choral conducting, organ performance and church music, and has studied in London and Belgium.

Ms. Garner was the founding director of the Glacier Symphony Chorale and the Glacier Children’s Choir in Northwest Montana, and has conducted chamber groups, community choirs, and school choirs. She has served as music director for various churches in the Northwest, including Lutheran, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic and Christian Science congregations.

Ms. Garner is also an accomplished pianist, organist, and harpist. She is currently the music director of the Rogue World Ensemble, a world music community choir in Ashland, and director of the Cantare Chorus, one of the four choirs within the Rogue Valley Youth Choruses.

Ms. Garner is an avid gardener and crafter, and lives with her extended family in Central Point.
