The content for this site was collected from monthly newsletters, and weekly email announcements; some was grandfathered from earlier web sites. If you are aware of information that is incorrect, missing, obsolete or out of date, please Contact Us: Web Administrator, especially if you have updates or if you would like content to appear sooner. Text, bulletin board announcements/flyers, clipart, photos, music, podcasts, games and links are welcome, especially from committee & group representatives, read about updates: content & process. Our Communication Committee will be revising the Privacy Policy and drafting our other content & publication policies.

Content should be "RVUUF-related" or "RVUUF-sponsored"; we generally do not publish info/events for outside organizations. The Web Admin prefers that updates be submitted by email -- though if you have many/large photos, a USB drive or CD is fine; if you can provide links, forms brochures, clip art, etc. so much the better; non-electronic updates -- paper info that must be retyped, verbal suggestions and mind reading -- are lower priority/less reliable sources.

Some events are designated as "announcements" that appear directly on the Home page, in addition to the Calendar. Announcements typically

• would be of interest to many members and visitors, e.g., classes, presentations, discussions, dinners, etc. -- not routine meetings
• contain details about time, location, topic, sponsoring group -- not just "hold this date"
• usually a paragraph or two (not too long)
• include a small graphic (photo or clipart) -- you can provide one, or Web Admin will select
