Great Hall
Let’s talk money. No, not asking for any.
We want to know how you want us to spend the money you pledge to support RVUUF.
All of the Committees have a chance to tell the Finance Committee how they would like the money spent. The Board gives us a list of priorities they would like financed. However, you are the donors and we want to hear directly from you.
Come see what has been asked for and how the priorities have been handled.
The Finance Committee wants to meet with you to receive your input and answer your questions.
Dates: Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10am to noon and after the Service Sunday, Feb. 28th.

Sat, Mar 12, 10am. Want to know where your pledges and donations go? The Budget process works like this: Committees submit their list of needs to the Council of Ministries (COM). Then COM works with the Finance Committee to determine priorities and produce a balanced budget. The next step is to get input from members at a forum so that any necessary changes can be made before it is sent to the Board. We hope you will take this opportunity to view the proposed budget, ask questions and make suggestions. In doing so you will be better prepared to vote on it at the Annual Meeting. -- Beth Coye, Chair of COM and Joan Dean, Chair of Finance Committee.
All members will be receiving a mailing which includes a copy of the draft budget for Jan-June 2009. Please come to the forum with your ideas how to bring our budget into balance. The budget for Jan-June 2009 will be voted on at the general meeting December 14th. Copies of a more detailed line-item budget will be in the office this week.
In accord with the 5th principal of the UU Association of Congregations, we’ll need a quorum to conduct RVUUF business and to vote on our proposed
