Join us to celebrate this Unitarian tradition of gathering flowers together in one grand bouquet, followed by each person taking a flower. We will also welcome new members in our New Member Joining Ceremony. This will be a multi-generational service for all ages. Please remember to bring flowers to contribute to the bouquet!

Gratitude is a spiritual practice that feeds the soul. We will consider what we are grateful for and how we want to extend our circle of gratitude. We are challenged to expand our circle of welcome to include ever more people with differing needs. We will welcome new members of our fellowship with a brief ritual during this service.

Welcome Visitors (brochure)
Please feel free to attend our Sunday Services. Learn more about RVUUF by speaking to the Sunday morning greeters, and to other church members during the coffee time after the service. Listen to Sermons. View photo slideshows.
Steps to Membership: If you are interested in becoming a member of RVUUF, Contact the Membership Committee or the Minister. The first step is to attend an orientation meeting, either Welcome to RVUUF, which is generally held on the first Sunday of the month from noon to 1pm, or Getting to Know RVUUF, a three-week, evening orientation. Check the Membership Committee page or online Calendar for the next orientation meetings. You are welcome to discuss questions you have with the minister.
Look through our online brochures. Check out RVUUF and UU history and resources under About Us / UU, and our activities and groups under Committees & Groups. Pick up pamphlets from the rack on the wall or from Sunday Greeters -- or the UUA Bookstore.
Participate in Fellowship ceremonies, Chalice Lighting, Adult Classes & Workshops, Children's Religious Education, Interest Groups, e. g., Humanism; Men's & Women's groups, Book Clubs; Spiritual Groups, e.g., Buddhist Meditation, Arts Exploration; and Social Groups, e.g., sign up for Circle Dinners -- you will be invited to evening pot-luck dinners with a mix of regular members and guests; it's a great way to meet people in the congregation and to get a sense of who we are and what we're all about.
We wish to extend our hand in friendship and welcome you to join us. In life's adventure, we seek ways to nurture, encourage and support one another. We value the opportunity to meet together in order to share our thoughts and companionship. At RVUUF, your experiences, beliefs and values will be both accepted and challenged. We look forward to knowing you.
