Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (RVUUF) Ashland, OR

Sun, May 20, 3pm. Pianists, Annette Gurney Hull and Nancy Correll will play Spanish and Latin American piano duets. The program includes a range of spicy rhythms from Spanish composers Albeniz and de Falla; Ravel’s romantic “Rapsodie Espanole”; Tangos by Piazza, and Gershwin’s “Cuban Overture”. You will hear many of the famous flamenco rhythms of Spain: luscious habaneras, the jota, the copla, as well as the rumba of Cuba, and, of course, the mesmerizing tangos from Argentina. Wear your mantillas!
