Contributes to the establishment and maintenance of a culture of abundance and generosity.

Orchestrates a Stewardship Campaign, the proceeds from which support the annual Operating Budget. Campaign may be implemented using any of the following models:

Stewardship Conversations
Commitment/Celebration Sunday
Cottage Meetings
Annual Congregational Dinner
Direct Mail Appeal
Telephone Appeal

Prepares all supporting materials, communications programs and social support activities to ensure the Stewardship Campaign successfully provides and encourages opportunities for generous financial commitments by all. May include a Leadership Reception as Campaign kick-off and ensures appropriate follow-up with all those having missed an initial opportunity for participation.

Ensures the ongoing, year-round focus on issues of Stewardship, including visits with new Members to validate that an obligation of membership includes making a financial commitment to RVUUF.

Enthusiasm and positive, can-do attitude are key requisites for Committee membership.
Committee Chair may serve as ex-officio member of Finance Committee.
