Service. If You Fall, Who Will Catch You?

Date:
Sun, 02/15/2009 - 10:30am - 11:30am

Rev. Carolyn Colbert, Interim Minister
The RVUUF Choir, Tami Marston, Director
Sarah Marston, vocals & Jane Manning, piano

We need each other. We need each other when we come to the edge of all the light we know and take a step into the darkness of the unknown. We need "catchers" who reach out to us when we fly too high. And folks who pick us up when we fall. You know, we all fall sometimes. That's why it helps to walk hand in hand.

This morning we celebrate our Caring Network and their ministry. There will be time after the service to learn more about how you can contribute to this essential program and ways in which you can be served.

Special Offering for February: The Omega Center provides programs for SOU students and community members. Rev. Rich Lang, executive director, offers classes and presentations designed to renew education as a transforming journey through celebrating wisdom springing from all the world’s profound religious, secular, intellectual and cultural traditions.
