What does it mean to create what 19th century philosopher Josiah Royce called "The Beloved Community"? I can’t imagine a more appropriate theme for us to look at together as we move toward the exciting transition of calling a Settled Minister and deepening RVUUF’s roots and unfurling it’s wings to greet a new era. This morning we’ll explore a few of the images that shape community: Holding to the Difficult, Staying Vigilant, and Blooming Where You’re Planted.
