In the flurry and business that builds up during the holidays today we'll look for quiet and stillness. It is hard to find. But it is a place of great power and healing. It is said that the most important gift we bring to each other is the silence in us. Perhaps we'll find ways to give that silence the space to carry us and our families through this season of too-muchness.
Food Bank Offering. More and more people are using the Ashland Emergency Food Bank. Your donations of non-perishable food items are really needed as the economy continues to make it harder and harder on families and people living at the edge. And, of course, your checks and cash donations are most welcome! When you go to the store to pick up your staples, add an extra can of food, an extra can of protein, an extra box of cereal for the Food Bank. Your little soaps and hotel toiletries are always welcome too.
