All are welcome to attend our weekly Worship Service (year-round), Religious Exploration program for children & youth (mid-Sep thru May), or nursery care on Sundays at 10:30 am at our Unitarian Universalist (UU) church in Ashland (southern Oregon) -- and two more services each month in Medford.

We welcome people from all religious backgrounds and beliefs and we support you in your seeking and growing. We are intentionally inclusive, embracing and appreciating people of every age, race, culture, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and economic circumstance. Find out more about us.

Sun, 02/05/2012 - 10:30am

The practice of compassion is named explicitly in our Unitarian Universalist principles and is implicit in all of our spiritual work. Compassion is at the center of most religious and spiritual practices. In this service, we will seek to understand compassion and find inspiration from varied traditions to make compassion real in our lives.

Questions, call Les Jensen at (541) 482-3504.

Feb 5: “Part Two Mormonism” How two presidential candidates relate to their Mormonism and if it effects their political ideas. We will also have excerpts from the Broadway musical production “The Book of Mormon”. Look for a possible reading in the UU Library after 1/28.

  • travel sharingWed, Feb 22, 7pm.

We will share our famous (?) Roamin' Doghouse trip. The trip was 10,000 miles across 28 states in the USA, and 2 provinces in Canada. I wrote 36,529 words about it in my daily log which should be in book form by February. We think it might be fun to read some of my musings during the trip, show photos, have Q&A, and hopefully, make the evening entertaining. Maybe we'll bring Casey since the Doghouse was for him and was christened Casey's Castle. The end of the "program" has to be Janet's 124-word synopsis. —Don and Janet Dolan
