First and foremost, we are a religious liberal community. We are individuals and families who are creating a spiritual home and are committed to spiritual, intellectual and personal growth. We have 175+ official Members -- plus children and Friends -- from southern Oregon and nearby California communities. Read more about us and our activities.

We have no "official" creeds or doctrines. We are the uncommon denomination. We encourage each person's freedom to choose a system of beliefs, and we respect the dignity of each individual.

We believe that life's questions ask for diverse studies and actions. We examine our rich Unitarian and Universalist heritage as well as the tenets of the world's faiths to arrive at a fulfilling faith of our own.

We cherish the diversity of opinion among our members and friends. We worship, sing, play, study, teach and work for social justice together as a congregation all the while remaining strong in our individual convictions.

At our worship service you will find members whose positions on faith are derived from a variety of religious beliefs: Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, naturist, atheist, or agnostic. Members might tell you that they are religious humanists, liberal Christians, or world religionists.

We covenant together to search for truth, wisdom, beauty and goodness while working for justice and mercy in the larger world. Whatever our theological persuasion, we Unitarian Universalists generally agree that the fruits of religious belief matter more than beliefs about religion - even about God. So we usually speak more of the fruits: gratitude for blessings, worthy aspirations, the renewal of hope, and service on behalf of justice and freedom.
