The Medford UU Society meets at 1 p.m. on the second and forth Sundays of each month in the Annex/Classroom of the Medford Senior Center, located at 510 E. Main St., off E. Eighth Street near Riverside.
RVUUF’s Social Justice and Action (SJ&A) Committee will hold a letter-writing campaign for the Clean Energy Jobs Bill, in the Foyer after the service on Sunday, Dec. 10. Stamped postcards, addressed to Oregon State Senator Alan DeBoer, will be available.
SJ&A will also have information on Measure 101, the health care measure on the ballot on Jan. 23. The measure, if passed, will help maintain health care in the state of Oregon. For further information, RVUUF’s contact form to connect with Diane Werich.
Bring small photos with you to RVUUF’s Holiday Craft Workshop, and make some keepsake ornaments. The Holiday Craft Workshop takes place from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, in RVUUF’s Great Hall. According to an announcement in this week’s “News to Note,” small photos can be made into holiday ornaments and make perfect holiday gifts.
One of the congregation’s young people is organizing a bake sale to help Jackson County families in need, noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, at Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Southern Oregon artist Greeley Wells is currently exhibiting in the RVUUF Gallery, located just off its Main Hall.
Wells has been an artist all his life. He received his M.F.A. in 1970 and for 19 years did fine art and commercial art in Los Angeles. In 1989 he retired from commercial art and moved out of Los Angeles.

RVUUF’s administration and welcome offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24. “Our staff and volunteers are grateful for all of you and wish you a very happy Thanksgiving!”
Interested in joining in fellowship with RVUUF? New Member Orientation will be offered on Saturday, Dec. 16. The group will meet in Emerson House (white house to the left of the main building) at 9 a.m. for coffee and refreshments, followed by a chance to share the story of your journey to RVUUF. Rev.
