Food bank collection adds homeless supplies

As reported in this week’s “News to Note” email newsletter: Something new will be added to RVUUF’s Food Bank collection on the first Sunday of the month. The Social Justice Committee has approved adding an extra box marked for supplies for the homeless.

Kudos to Krynn Lukacs for her Craft Fair in December. There were 15 stations staffed by volunteers where participants could make various craft projects, anything from gingerbread houses to bourbon balls to jewelry; something for everyone. What an amazing idea and organizational achievement.

Three questions to answer on Jan. 31

The RVUUF Board charged an ad hoc team to come up with a process to gain a greater sense of community and direction for RVUUF. This “Process Team” will guide the entire congregation, including children and youth, to ignite a new unified mission for RVUUF.
